Smokin’ Hot Aces – the only true rock ‘n’ roll bar on the Strip - opened December 29, 2009 at The Venetian. Smokin’ Hot Aces was originally conceived by sole owner, Miami plastic surgeon, Leonard Roudner, whose passion for all things rock ‘n’ roll is the genesis for the bar’s classic and modern rock theme. The poker themed graphics add the perfect touch of Vegas for this bar that literally overlooks the Las Vegas Strip from the front of The Venetian Hotel.
The name, Smokin’ Hot Aces, is also a nod to casino-style recreation with the ace of spades – a true poker tie – at the center of the logo. This rock ‘n’ roll house with an underlying poker vibe is a first for Vegas nightlife and marks the company’s national debut.
The bar’s color schemes of red, black and gray were carefully chosen to project an edgy, rock ‘n’ roll style. The venue is highlighted by custom-made ace of spades wallpaper and a larger-than-life slot machine that adds the perfect touch of Vegas-style fun. A stage fit for national, regional and local rock ‘n’ rollers will attract a steady stream of memorable rock performances at this intimate rock ‘n’ roll haven.
Need we say more? Smokin’ Hot Aces is the new home for rock ‘n’ roll in Las Vegas.
